Keeping that in mind  if you are looking fo r authent ic south Indian cuisine in Lucknow you must try SOUTH INDIAN TAMIL NADU DOSA, particularly for its dosa and idli.  Pro tip its paneer butter masala dosa is by far the best I had in Lucknow. back in college days, i t was our go-to dining destination whenever we thought we deserved a special treat and that was quite often .  The shop is owned and entirely run by south Indian people. they speak fluent Tamil and a bit of Hindi enough to understand and take your orders.
