Idiot After Intermediate

All thanks and congratulations to my friend Paritesh or chacha as we fondly call him.  Thanks for inviting us and congratulations on getting engaged. So you may ask Why chacha? It's because he's just like the chacha's you probably have encountered in your respective lives. chacha's are not like papa's, they give you a margin of scope to have a friendly relation and at the same time, they are a fountain of experience so you get double delight. A)- you get a friend and B)- you get a mentor. So chacha fits this slot perfectly as he's sort of an expert on whatever we strive to know and he's the best friend you could get. This lockdown had taken tolls on many things including friendships. We were a group of 6-7 friends since early days of college then campus life ended and we got busy in our respective field until chacha decided to get married with the love of his college life Neha whom we will perhaps call Chachi ):-XD.  So we were there during the ring ceremony...

One upon a time, a bunch of rookies, with no expectation on them were given a free rein, weaved magic, achieved the unthinkable, and etched their name's into the cricketing folklore...…..                                                                                                                     I was in class 8th or 9th when India lifted the world cup in Mumbai. I've grown listening to the nostalgia of "83 win so it was like reliving the whole moment all over again.  In those moments I thought nothing could be better than this could be achieved in the cricketing arena. Martin Luther King, jr. had famously said "We are not makers of history. We are made by history" and nothing has shaped our world more than the 2 world wars. History has always amused me, not limiting it to the subcontinent but extrapolating to European history as well. As in Europe, lies the events that shaped our world. Fortunately enough I came across this tv series directed by Steven Spielberg & Tom Hanks based on a book by prolific American historian Stephen E. Ambrose .   Since almost everybody has somehow heard about the Normandy evasions and their importance in liberating northwestern Europe from German Nazi forces and also opening a two-front war for Nazis. Which ultimately culminated into the primary reason for the defeat of Adolf Hitter. But the D-Day was not just about Normandy but also about many other small and big battles.
